TNA MOBILE FEATURES NEWS ON THE UPCOMING WORLD X CUP As TNAwrestling.com first announced in March, plans are underway for the return of TNA Wrestling's "World X Cup" event.For our newer fans, the World X Cup was first held in TNA in 2004, with teams of international X Division stars competing in a tournament to capture the X Cup. The previous tournaments saw competitors from wrestling promotions in Canada, Japan, Mexico and England travel to the United States to compete against TNA's best. Although the tournament has not been held in recent years, TNA Wrestling Management Director Jim Cornette revealed to TNAwrestling.com in March that the international event would make its return to TNA this summer, with details to be announced soon. On Tuesday afternoon, TNA Mobile offered subscribers some exclusive news concerning the upcoming tournament. According to TNA Mobile, TNA management has been in contact with the New Japan, CMLL (Mexico) and Dragon Gate promotions to discuss bringing in some of their top X class talent to compete in the World X Cup.
