Thanksgiving. The Thanksgiving holiday is celebrated at different times all around the world. And while these nations have different days of observance, there remains a constant theme shared between one and all. That theme is of personal reflection.

Thanksgiving is a time for each of us to take a personal inventory of the things that mean the most to us in our lives, and give blessing to them. Whether our thanks be vested in family, health, material goods or otherwise, no matter who you are or where you come from, you undoubtedly have something to be grateful for. And while we all should demonstrate such appreciation through our daily actions, Thanksgiving, in all it’s glory, is the ultimate day of recognition, allowing us all to come together, to revel in each other’s company, remember our past, enjoy the present and contemplate the future.

At a recent TNA Wrestling event, several of the stars of TNA were gracious enough to take a few moments out of their busy schedule to share what it is that they are thankful for this Thanksgiving holiday. Here now, in their own words, are the voices of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling:

Jim Cornette: “What am I thankful for this Thanksgiving? I am thankful for all the tremendous blockbuster talent acquisitions that TNA has made the past year that I have been the spearhead of. I am grateful for all the great TNA fans, for the worldwide pay per view, and for the national two hour television. I am grateful for all the stars and all the many millions of TNA fans all around the world. You ain’t seen nothing yet. Sit down for Thanksgiving dinner because as soon as we finish with that, wrestling is going to be hot and heavy.”

Don West: “I’m thankful that this is the sixth Thanksgiving that I’ve gotten to experience with TNA and I hope there are sixty more.”

Mike Tenay: “Thanksgiving obviously reminds me about family in general, my granddaughter in particular, Kayla, I am very thankful for that. I am very thankful for the existence of TNA, enabling a lot of people in the wrestling business to make a living.”

Referee Rudy Charles: “I’m thankful for my friends and family. I’m thankful for everything that I have in life, all the blessings. And most of all, I am thankful that I am the senior referee in TNA Wrestling.”

Eric Young: “I’m thankful that I’m still alive, relatively happy and that you let me record this in a room by myself because crowds scare me.”

Samoa Joe: “Samoa Joe is thankful for Sunday afternoons, the simple things in life, and the fact that he knows that Kurt Angle is married to the biggest bitch in the world.”

Robert Roode: “I am thankful for being filthy, stinking rich.”

Kaz: “This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for many things; my friends, my family, and for the opportunity to wrestle with the best wrestlers in the world every week at TNA.”

Lance Hoyt: “What am I thankful for? Lance Hoyt is thankful for Christy Hemme. Lance Hoyt is thankful for his belt buckles. And, Lance Hoyt is thankful for being him and not being you!”

James Storm: “I’m very thankful for the alcohol that God has sent to this earth for me to drink…and for Jackie’s big boobies.”

Sonjay Dutt: "I'm so thankful for the world, for the earth, for love and for sunshine! With the air clean and our hearts full of warmth, what else could someone ask for? But, all I have to ask for this holiday season is any sort of donation you could give to the GHF (Guru Humanitarian Fund)"

SoCal Val: “I am thankful for new possibilities, whatever they bring.”

Petey Williams: “I’m thankful in October, because Canadian Thanksgiving is in October. I’m thankful for Gold’s Gym, Lifetime Fitness, weights in general. The rotary torso machine has been good me this year. I’m also thankful for my obliques and the CFL (Canadian Football League).”

Black Reign: “I am very thankful this Thanksgiving that I have a wonderful little mistress, my arctic fox, Misty. We will be dining together with her wheel and it will be raining. The downpour will fall all day and the only ones that will be left at the dinner table are me, Misty, and the wheel. Happy Thanksgiving.”

James Mitchell: “I’m thankful for the fact that my son, Judas Mesias, has returned to slaughter that stupid son of a @#$%, the moron Abyss.”

Brother Devon: “My whole deal about the holidays is that it is a joke. I mean basically the biggest thing that has come about this year for the holidays is me and my brother, Brother Ray, taking hold and hostage the X Division title as well as beating up those puny little punks that they have running around here like jumping beans, calling themselves the X Division. As far as I am concerned, at the end of this year, people are gonna know that Team 3D is not only the best tag team in the world, but we made the holidays official by taking out each and every one of these X Division guys and of course getting our TNA tag team titles back. So as far as I am concerned, that’s what the holidays mean to me, not those X Division guys and certainly not those redneck fans that come in the building each and every night, talking about, “this is awesome.” As far as I am concerned, they suck along with the X Division.”

Gail Kim: “First of all, I’m Canadian, so I am not celebrating on the right day. I’m thankful for the obvious, that TNA gave us the women’s division after all this time. I’m very thankful that I got the opportunity to win the women’s title. I’m very thankful for my family, being so supportive, and the great girls in the locker room, as well as the entire roster, they are all great.”

Elix Skipper: “You know what time it is, it’s Primetime. You know what I’m thankful for, that we put XXX back together again.”

Kurt Angle: “What I am grateful for during this Thanksgiving time is the fact that I am Kurt Angle. I am a twelve time world Olympic champion. I have these movie star looks and I’m very grateful for that. I am grateful for my athleticism and although 99% of the families out there don’t have what I have, that’s because I’m Kurt Angle and they are not. But Thanksgiving is a time for giving thanks and I am very thankful that I have everything and unfortunately, most people don’t.”

Scott Hall: “This Thanksgiving I’m thankful for my children, Cody and Cassidy, and for another year of being alive. Frankly, the way I’d been living my life, I was kind of burning the candle at both ends and a little bit in the middle, and I’m just happy to still be kickin’. I’m also happy to have the opportunity to perform in front of the fans again and just do what I love, entertain.”

It is plain to see that the stars of TNA Wrestling are thankful for many, many things. Yet one commonality shared by all, is that all the stars of TNA are thankful for you, the fan. They are grateful for all the support you have shown them over the course of the past five plus years and for your continued support in the future. This star studded locker room of youthful dreamers and legendary veterans appreciates its fans worldwide just as you the fan are grateful and appreciate them for providing a quality alternative in professional wrestling.

As you, the fan, enjoy your own Thanksgiving day celebrations and reflect on your own personal blessings, revel in the fact that you and all of TNA Wrestling are working together to change the world of professional wrestling for the better. So settle in this Thursday evening for a special Thanksgiving edition of iMPACT!, as all the stars of TNA Wrestling do once more what they do best and what they love to do, entertain you. From all of us at TNA Wrestling, we wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving.
