TNA Wrestling fans rarely get to see the brutal results of such an attack, especially on TNA staff members, the majority of whom are not trained athletes. One of the people that Angle attacked was longtime TNA ring announcer David Penzer, who was beaten unmercifully by Angle. As you can see by the below photo, Penzer endured the worst from the Olympic gold medalist. "I've had several bumps and bruises in my past 15 years in wrestling, but taking a beating from Kurt Angle ranks as the worst thing that's ever happened to me at ringside," Penzer told TNAwrestling.com. "Am I angry? I was at first, but things like this come with the territory in wrestling. I'm going to be in pain for a few days, but I'm confident after speaking with TNA Management Director Jim Cornette that he's going to be adding to the fine already levied on Kurt. Don't worry - I'll be fine." TNAwrestling.com can confirm that Jim Cornette fined Angle an additional $10,000 for the attack on Penzer and other TNA staffers, in addition to the $25,000 recently levied against him for his comments about TNA in the United Kingdom.
